KEPS™ is the Kinetic Electro Protection System™: a handler-controlled, defensive electro-pulse layer for the working K9. Electric pulses at designated exterior contact areas are intended to deter grabs and holds, giving the K9 another layer of active protection. KEPS™ is included with every K1K9 vest and integrated into the EKP™ Helmet. It is designed for protection, not aggression or punishment.
KEPS™ addresses the vest’s intended protective role. KAIR™ provides measurement, while KESP™ supports professional sparring-partner development. Each has a distinct responsibility within the K1K9 ecosystem.

K1K9 reports that initial production orders have been sent to accommodate military, law-enforcement and special-operations requirements, with the remaining allocation designated for public releases.
