The K1K9 K-MDAV™ brings KEPS™, ballistic- and stab-resistant protective components, and integrated handling equipment together in one modular K9 vest. These are included features, not optional upgrades. Designed around the K9-and-handler team, the platform combines carrying, lead management, identification and tracking features. Deploy the handling equipment you need and tuck away what you do not, keeping unused handles and attachment points stowed.

Red identification highlights grab handles, carrying points and the integrated lead for recognition. The vest is designed to combine these functions without treating KEPS or the protective components as optional upgrades.

Developed by the K1K9 team, the EKP™ is our first K9 helmet designed to bring visor and eye protection, blunt-impact cushioning, and grab-and-hold deterrence together in one integrated platform. Adjustable internal cushioning and breakaway retention support the protective design. KEPS™, the Kinetic Electro Protection System™, is integrated to help deter grabbing or holding the helmet. Lights, color indicators and strobe settings are designed to support visibility and identification.

Professional benefit: The central design goals are K9 head protection, an individual fit and improved visibility. Impact cushioning and retention features address physical protection, while the lighting system is intended to help handlers and team members identify the K9. KEPS™ is the Kinetic Electro Protection System™: a handler-controlled, defensive electro-pulse layer for the working K9. Electric pulses at designated exterior contact areas are intended to deter grabs and holds, giving the K9 another layer of active protection. KEPS™ is included with every K1K9 vest and integrated into the EKP™ Helmet. It is designed for protection, not aggression or punishment.

Handler control: Remote, Bluetooth or manual on/off control, according to configuration. Protective covers help shield the system. The design supports sitting, lying down and agile movement; correct fit and clearance remain essential.
