01 / K9 PlacementTwo-year waiting list. Referral-only high-performance Giant Schnauzers.INSIDE THIS SECTIONHousehold fitHandler experiencePlacement expectations
The right K9 begins with understanding the life it will enter. A private placement conversation considers your household, daily environment, handling experience and security expectations before discussing suitable candidates. The priority is a responsible match with clear expectations for both the K9 and its future handler.
Personal presentation by Joseph Garcia.
Every K9 that places is presented to the household by him personally.
A complete development record.
Our Giant Schnauzers are developed as full-service Professional Special Services Canines (PSS-K9™), with complete documentation from birth through completion of training. The KAIR™ system has been used confidentially with our previous K9s; enhanced, advanced systems are now used with all of our high-performance PSS-K9™ K9s.
If you are seeking a traditional protection K9 rather than our PSS-K9™ program, we can discuss referrals to other providers whose services may better match your requirements.
An inquiry does not confirm acceptance, a waiting-list position or a delivery date. Placement remains subject to referral, suitability review and written agreement.

K9 RED CELL EVALUATION & ASSESSMENT
We assess the K9. Not the purchase.
We do not need to know who sold you the K9 or what you paid. Those conversations belong between you and your provider. Our responsibility is to give you a direct, evidence-led assessment of the K9 you bring to us, measured against the role you need it to perform.
A real-world snapshot. A documented basis for decisions.
Our comprehensive RED CELL program brings together realistic assessment conditions, specialist observation, technology, visual records and digital documentation. KAIR™ data, where applicable, supports a current picture of the K9’s capabilities, the handler’s coordination and the team’s performance under the conditions actually tested.
The program is designed for security details, high-net-worth families and estates, and corporate security teams. We examine the client’s requirements rather than relying on a purchase price, a provider’s reputation or a training label to establish suitability for a protective role.
No predetermined verdict. No manufactured failure.
Our job is not to make your K9 look bad or set it up to fail. We evaluate strengths, limitations and possible gaps through professionally managed, unconventional security-related scenarios within an agreed scope, with permissions, participant safety and K9 welfare established before testing.
If we find no material gaps within that scope, that is what the report will say. If development needs are identified, the findings will explain the evidence, its limitations and the options available to address them. The report distinguishes measured results, observed behavior and professional judgment.
Your findings. Your options.
The assessment is intended to educate and empower the family, handler and security team. Clients receive a comprehensive report and debrief, with prioritized options for mission-specific development toward Professional Special Services Canine (PSS-K9™) duties, where appropriate. Follow-on work is a separate decision, not a presumed condition of receiving an honest assessment.
One location or a coordinated international engagement.
Evaluations can be considered worldwide, including multiple sites and countries around the requirements of the family or protection detail. Locations, timing, travel, legal permissions, staffing, confidentiality, reporting and costs are agreed before an engagement is confirmed.
Provider identity and purchase price are not requested. Relevant behavioral, training, health and safety history will be discussed during scoping; an assessment is a snapshot under defined conditions, not a guarantee of future protection.

K1K9-EXCLUSIVE / PRIVATE HANDLER & FAMILY PREPARATION
Discreet presence. Deliberate preparation.
A specialized, hands-on program for high-net-worth individuals, executive families, estates and their security teams. It is designed for clients who prefer a low-profile protective presence and want a more active, informed role in working with their Professional Special Services Canine (PSS-K9™).
The objective is coordinated protection without an unnecessarily conspicuous security presence. The family, handler, K9 and supporting personnel are prepared together around assessed needs; staffing and protective resources are determined by the risk and responsibilities involved, not appearance alone.
Practical preparation for the life you lead.
Private instruction can address responsible K9 deployment, handler communication, household coordination, surveillance awareness, counter-surveillance principles, travel readiness and working with a K9 in unfamiliar or demanding environments. Preparation for abduction-related risks and other high-risk situations is addressed within a lawful, professionally supervised protective framework.
Depending on suitability and the agreed scope, options may include defensive-skills preparation and firearms training with suitably qualified instructors, appropriate facilities and defined safety requirements. Sensitive methods, scenario details and operational procedures are not published on this page.
Experienced personnel. A tailored engagement.
Delivery draws on experienced special-operations and protective-security-detail (PSD) personnel. Assigned instructors, relevant certifications, participant suitability and program boundaries are confirmed during engagement planning. The emphasis is practical preparation, responsible decision-making and coordination between the family, their K9 and any existing protection team.
Private access to a K1K9-exclusive program.
This program is offered directly through K1K9, with an individually defined scope rather than a public, off-the-shelf course. Request a private consultation to discuss objectives, participants, delivery arrangements and access to additional confidential program information.
Confidential documents are released only after the appropriate review and agreements. NDA requirements, any clearance documentation and international travel needs are addressed before sensitive information is exchanged or an engagement is confirmed.
Request a Private Handler & Family Consultation ↗Consultation does not establish an NDA, verify clearance status or guarantee acceptance, travel availability or protective outcomes. Requirements and responsibilities are agreed in writing.

EXECUTIVE PROTECTION / SPECIALIZED PSD & PSS-K9™ SERVICES
One coordinated detail. Personnel and K9 capability.
K1K9 combines specialized protective-security-detail (PSD) personnel and Professional Special Services Canines (PSS-K9™) through strategic security alliances. This exclusive, directly coordinated service supports private clients, executive families, major private functions and organizations requiring an integrated protection capability rather than separate personnel and K9 arrangements.
Requirements can range from a compact, low-profile detail to a larger coordinated team. Where appropriate to the assignment, a one-operator-to-one-K9 model brings the handler and K9 together as a dedicated operational pairing within the wider security plan.
Specialist assets. Defined mission requirements.
Available service configurations can draw on personnel with government protective-security experience and specialist K9 disciplines, including explosives detection, narcotics detection, firearms detection, tracking and support for authorized specialized operations or personnel-recovery requirements. K9s and personnel are selected for the requested role; not every K9 carries every discipline.
For clients seeking Tier 1-level protective capability, the consultation identifies the specific personnel, K9 competencies, documented credentials and supporting assets appropriate to the assignment. Government experience is not presented as government endorsement; current certifications and scope are verified for the proposed team.
Immediate requirements. Planned engagements. Global coordination.
Discuss short-term or long-term assignments, private events, escort requirements, around-the-clock coverage and standby arrangements, including requests with a 24-hour mobilization window. International assignments are coordinated around local law, licensing, travel and K9-entry requirements, with feasibility and timing confirmed before deployment.
K1K9 offers access to integrated PSD and PSS-K9™ teams through its strategic alliances. The personnel, K9s, specialist assets and standby capacity available for your requirement are confirmed directly; no team is reserved or dispatched by submitting an inquiry.
This inquiry channel is not emergency dispatch and is not represented as continuously monitored. If anyone faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency services. Availability, response time, permissions and deployment remain subject to direct confirmation and agreement.
05 / Equipment & Custom IntegrationConfidential technology consultation for elevated security requirements.INSIDE THIS SECTIONSpecialized technologyCustom integrationPrivate consultation
PRIVATE CLIENT SERVICES / EQUIPMENT & CUSTOM INTEGRATION
Specialized technology. A precisely defined purpose.
For clients with elevated security requirements, K1K9 works with specialist technology companies to explore equipment and custom integrations that support the K9, handler and wider protection team. Each engagement begins with the intended role of the Professional Special Services Canine (PSS-K9™), the client’s priorities and the environment in which the equipment will be used.
This is an exclusive service arranged directly through K1K9, not an off-the-shelf equipment package. The objective is to identify appropriate technology and define how it may support security operations and K9 capabilities, with suitability, compatibility and practical limitations considered before a proposal is made.
Confidential by arrangement. Specific by design.
Partner identities, configurations and sensitive technical information are discussed only through approved communication arrangements and any required confidentiality agreements. A private consultation establishes objectives, existing systems, integration needs and the appropriate next steps.
Any proposed solution is subject to technical review, K9 welfare and handler-safety considerations, applicable permissions, availability and an agreed scope. Performance, delivery schedules and service terms are confirmed for the specific engagement rather than assumed.
Request an Equipment & Custom Integration Consultation ↗Choose a Zoom conference, an in-person meeting or an initial coordination call. Keep operational specifications and sensitive security details out of the initial inquiry; an NDA request does not itself establish confidentiality terms.

PSS-K9™ MISSION RECALIBRATION™ / LIMITED-CAPACITY IMMERSION
Your K9. A defined mission. A concentrated development plan.
An exclusive, evaluation-first program for clients with an immediate need to develop an existing protection K9 toward an assessed Professional Special Services Canine (PSS-K9™) role. The starting point is the K9 you have, the capabilities your circumstances require and an honest determination of whether the proposed transition is suitable.
This is focused immersion, not an open-ended boarding arrangement. Before intake, we define objectives, the proposed instruction plan, review points, costs and an anticipated completion window. Progress determines the next step; speed is an objective, not a reason to bypass the K9’s readiness.
Three to four specialists. One K9’s development.
The program’s staffing model assigns three to four specialist instructors to each K9, bringing complementary disciplines into one coordinated development plan. A planned daily schedule of five to eight sessions combines focused skills work, assessment and integration with the high-performance PSS-K9™ program.
Session length, intensity and number are adjusted to the K9’s health, recovery and learning needs. This is not five to eight high-intensity contact sessions; rest, welfare and appropriate veterinary input take priority. The instruction team and daily schedule are defined for the individual engagement.
Specialist environments. Documented progress.
Where the agreed objectives call for it, development may include work at different U.S. high-performance training centers with different specialists. International training for specialized skill sets can also be considered, subject to client approval, K9 suitability, veterinary documentation, transport arrangements and all applicable entry and return requirements.
Completion includes a comprehensive handover information packet and evaluation documenting work completed, observed capabilities, remaining limitations and continued handler responsibilities. Any PSS-K9™ status or program certification is conditional on meeting the applicable assessment requirements; enrollment alone does not confer certification or guarantee every requested capability.
Reserved capacity. Priority needs.
Our own PSS-K9™ development program continues alongside this service, so only a limited number of client-owned protection K9s can be accepted. Priority is given to assessed, immediate client needs, subject to suitability and specialist capacity.
A priority request does not guarantee an immediate response, intake date or acceptance. This is not an emergency service; sensitive security details and full medical or travel records should be discussed only through agreed private arrangements.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION PROGRAMS / DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL
Your organization. Your team. A coordinated PSS-K9™ capability.
A tailored program for professional organizations, religious organizations, places of worship and corporations building a security team or strengthening an existing one. K1K9 works with the organization, its handlers and suitable K9s to define how a Professional Special Services Canine (PSS-K9™) capability can support the team’s responsibilities.
A PSS-K9™ capability. Not a traditional protection-dog purchase.
This program is specifically for organizations seeking to enhance their security team with an integrated PSS-K9™ capability. It is not a traditional protection-dog sales program; the focus is the K9’s defined role, the handlers who work with it and the organization’s wider security requirements.
If you are looking for a traditional protection K9 instead, we will be pleased to help identify credible protection-dog providers in your region or in the United States. Referral options are discussed individually, subject to suitable provider availability.
This is not limited to Giant Schnauzers. Our experience includes Belgian Malinois, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers and Rottweilers, with selection and development guided by the client’s requirements and the individual K9’s suitability rather than breed alone.
Develop the K9 and the team together.
Organizations may present their existing K9s for evaluation. Where appropriate, those K9s and their designated handlers can enter a tailored PSS-K9™ development pathway that addresses communication, control, operational role, team coordination and documented assessment.
The aim is to strengthen the organization’s program, not simply deliver a dog and leave the team to work out the rest. Proposed instruction, handler participation, evaluation criteria and any continuing support are defined around the agreed scope. PSS-K9™ program certification is earned through the applicable assessment, not automatically granted by enrollment.
Eligibility first. A clear proposal next.
K9 age restrictions and organizational eligibility requirements apply. Health, behavior, previous preparation, the intended role and the organization’s authority and responsibilities are reviewed before acceptance; not every K9 or organization will qualify.
Domestic and international engagements are considered individually, subject to capacity, permissions, logistics and the suitability of the proposed program. Request a comprehensive organization information package or a private consultation to discuss your team, existing K9s and development priorities.
Request an Organization Information Package & Consultation ↗Information requests do not establish eligibility, reserve training capacity or confer certification. Confidential program materials are shared only after the appropriate review and any required agreements.
