KAIR™: Kinetic Anatomical Impact Response. Know the terms →
Your K9 bites hard. Compared to what?
A single session is a snapshot. The KAIR™ app is fully functional, calibrated for compatible KAIR™ systems and available through the professional KAIR™ program. It connects measurement, session context and professional review.
You bring the experience. Make the progress reviewable.

THE INTENDED DEVELOPMENT CYCLE
A baseline you can revisit. A decision you can explain. Progress assessed in context.
Use an appropriate exercise, identified equipment and checked measurement quality. Choose a specific question.
Review duration, sustained output and comparable repetitions alongside notes and permitted video.
Retain, adjust or pause the professional plan. Record why, then examine subsequent matched sessions.
The KAIR™ record follows the individual PSS-K9™: identity, age at session, handler, dated readings, equipment, calibration, exercise conditions, notes, video and program changes. Original records remain separate from later corrections and summaries.
Review a baseline beside a later training block, not a universal age-to-PSI ranking. Equipment, material, health context and protocol changes must remain visible.
Years-long history is a product goal, not a delivered demo capability. Confirmed server saves, tested backup and restoration, exports, retention rules and account-closure policies are release requirements. No unlimited or lifetime storage is promised.
Supported bite pressure where validated, contact or hold duration, peak and sustained output, repeatability and mapped sensor-channel activity. Every result needs its exercise, equipment, units and conditions.
Calibration, overload, signal loss and incomplete data belong in the record. A force measurement must remain force in its supported units; pressure reporting requires a suitable calibrated and validated assembly.
A bite reading is not a diagnosis or a complete measure of cardiovascular fitness, whole-body strength or operational capability. Use professional observations and appropriate additional assessments.
The KAIR™ workflow connects compatible equipment to supported phones or tablets by Bluetooth, then synchronizes saved records with the authorized account over an internet connection. Supported hardware and account configuration apply.
Local recording without internet and later synchronization are planned capabilities, not validated features of this preview. “Saved on this device” and “confirmed by the server” must remain distinct. Supported devices, battery needs, range and operating conditions still need defined release specifications.
Before: confirm the K9, equipment and readiness. During: retain context and data-quality warnings. After: review the record, complete aftercare and document concerns. The objective is better-informed development, not a higher number at any cost.
Planned learning includes short instructional modules, preparation guidance, weekly professional development, authorized recorded-session review and individual coaching. Recordings, paid enrollment, scheduling and coach services are not operational in this preview; qualifications, availability, pricing and terms need confirmation.
KAIR™ supports measurement and documentation within SCAD™. KINETIC™ houses the helmet and vest family. Independent events remain separate: an app account is not certification, and a training record is not automatically a verified competition result.
THE QUESTIONS THAT MATTER
You bring the experience. The intended KAIR™ workflow brings a record you can examine.
KAIR™ is designed to place comparable session records side by side so professionals can examine what changed. A trace, duration and contextual notes can support that discussion; differences still need interpretation rather than automatic attribution to training.
The intended trace and duration record would distinguish a short spike from output maintained through a defined exercise. Look for repeatability across matched repetitions, not only a personal best.
Trainers can make their reasoning visible and handlers can preserve session context. Shared records help authorized instructors maintain continuity when responsibility changes. A record supports professional judgment; it does not replace it.
Planned reports would link measurements to dated sessions, conditions, notes and permitted video. Explain what was tested and observed without presenting a training record as proof of overall fitness, a diagnosis or independent certification.
Not by itself. Its intended role is to help a qualified professional measure selected outcomes, review a plan and evaluate later results. No particular strength gain or training outcome is guaranteed.
The KAIR™ application is a working, calibrated system available to support compatible KAIR™ equipment and professional session review.
Supported equipment, calibration parameters and software configuration are supplied with the system. Operational availability is separate from independent certification or a university endorsement; none is implied by this page.
The website screenshots show simulated demonstration data, not live readings from the working KAIR™ system. Education, membership and record services retain their own access terms.
“My K9 is tough. My K9 bites hard.” That’s a claim. Where’s the proof? Where’s the baseline? Where’s the documented development? If “trust me” is enough, this may not be your program. If you want to put those claims to the test, keep reading.
The KAIR™ program draws on corrections special-operations K9 handling experience dating to 2009. Field observations, collected records and equipment development shaped a practical question: what information would help professionals assess K9 responses and make better-informed decisions?
Operational user requirements guided the app’s vision, screen layouts, functions and feedback. Software engineering translated those requirements into the responsive mobile, tablet and desktop experience demonstrated in today’s interactive preview.
The ambition is to make KAIR™ a leading professional platform for protection-K9 development: experience-based design, user-friendly controls and meaningful information for the person making the decisions. Planned integration with supported K1K9-KINETIC™ tactics, training and application workflows remains subject to hardware integration, validation and release approval; it is not a claim that every operational deployment is already supported.
To anyone who believes a following, an association or a position of influence gives them the right to decide what the protection-K9 community may question: let the evidence speak. Ask yourself whether discouraging people from examining a different approach protects a standard, or simply protects the familiar.
Question the technology. Challenge the methods. Ask what has been measured, what has been validated and what remains in development. That is scrutiny, and we welcome it. Dismissing an approach without examining it is not the same as evaluating it.
You do not have to join us. Thank you for taking a look. But let other handlers, trainers and decoys examine the information and make their own informed decisions. The K9’s welfare and the team’s development deserve more than a loyalty contest.
This ecosystem is not built to chase likes, clicks, followers or anyone’s approval. Our standard is checkable facts, useful information, professional experience and evidence that can be examined. That standard applies to us, too.
INVITATION / APPLICATION / REVIEW
For professionals prepared to use appropriate measurements, maintain honest records and put K9 welfare first. An inquiry or willingness to pay does not guarantee acceptance.
In response to purchase requests from multiple military Special Operations Forces (SOF) units, K1K9 is prioritizing our military’s needs. Confirmed military special orders will be fulfilled first, before general-release allocations.
Acceptance is not guaranteed. If this program is not the right fit, we can discuss whether other K1K9 services, educational resources or referrals may be appropriate.
The intended access model is invitation or application followed by review. An inquiry, referral, application or willingness to pay does not guarantee approval.
This program is intended for trainers, handlers, decoys and K9 specialists who are prepared to record honestly, question their assumptions and use appropriate measurements alongside professional judgment. If you prefer to keep working without this system, thank you for taking a look. If you want evidence behind the claims, we welcome your inquiry.
If we cannot accept you into the KAIR™ program, we can discuss whether other K1K9 services, educational resources or referrals may suit your needs. An alternative pathway is not guaranteed and depends on suitability and availability.
Professional access is being developed around competence, legitimate use, K9 welfare, equipment integrity and honest records. Eligibility and privacy terms will accompany enrollment.
Access will be governed by published eligibility and conduct terms. App access does not confer professional certification.
