K1K9™ Wide Mouth Grip Developer

Build the foundation early.

Designed to encourage a wider mouth opening and a deep, full-mouth grip. Rather than relying on a bite suit to introduce these fundamentals, the developer gives handlers and trainers a dedicated tool for progressive grip development.

Multiple sizes take the system from puppies to highly trained adult K9s. Different internal resistance levels provide opposition as the K9 compresses and maintains its hold, while the sensor adds objective feedback to the trainer’s observations.

Developed and used within the unit.

According to the program’s field account, these developers have been privately manufactured and used in-house for several years. The developer is described as one of the unit’s preferred tools for establishing solid full-mouth grip fundamentals.

Three materials. One development system.

• French linen: Fabric-covered option, including the 13" × 9" linen configuration described in the specifications.
• Leather: Specialized custom buffalo-and-cowhide option, shown in the black-leather exterior and sensor-pocket views.
• Jute: Jute-covered option within the puppy-to-adult development family.

Choose the covering alongside the size and internal resistance appropriate for the individual K9.

Different stages. Different resistance.

The family includes jute, French linen and specialized custom leather combining buffalo hide and cowhide. Size, covering and internal resistance are selected for the individual K9’s developmental stage and training needs.

Short, firmly attached handles at both ends support a controlled two-handed hold. The 13" linen configuration also includes a 40" line with a sheathed handle.

Measure the work.

The sensor-equipped system supports puppy and adult development. The transparent view shows the sensor in an exterior pocket and an attached Bluetooth transmitter near the end cap, with the connection protected and no loose wiring.

13" linen bite roll with sensor.

• 13" × 9" linen body
• 40" line with a sheathed handle
• Firm foam core, batting-wrapped for grip
• Reinforced end caps

These specifications apply to the linen version described above. The family also includes other sizes, resistance levels and material options; the black-leather review images do not show the optional line.

Equipment informs. The trainer decides.

Select the size and resistance for the individual K9. Supervise every session and account for oral health, teething, comfort and readiness before progressing.
