France, Germany and Spain: EU entry frameworkEuropean Union
For noncommercial entry from outside the EU, check identification, valid rabies vaccination, any origin-dependent antibody test, an official EU health certificate issued within 10 days of arrival, and the noncommercial declaration. Owner/authorized-person travel timing and designated entry points matter. National breed, access and onward-travel rules require separate checks. (Your Europe: official EU pet-travel rules)

England, Scotland and WalesGreat Britain
Check the approved route, microchip before rabies vaccination, the required travel document and any dog tapeworm treatment 24–120 hours before arrival. The primary-vaccination waiting period is at least 21 full days and depends on the vaccine. Northern Ireland has separate guidance; assistance dogs still meet animal-health requirements. (GOV.UK: bringing pets to Great Britain)

Origin and arrival route change the paperworkMexico
SENASICA's exception covers dogs originating in Mexico, the U.S. or Canada and arriving from the U.S. or Canada: physical inspection applies, without its good-health certificate or vaccination-record requirement. Arrivals from other countries have documentary requirements. This exception does not remove airline or U.S.-return requirements. (SENASICA: entering Mexico with a pet)

Certificate and accompanimentCosta Rica
Use the official international health certificate completed by a USDA-accredited veterinarian and endorsed by APHIS. A printed, endorsed certificate must travel with the dog. Unaccompanied pets require an import permit; check the certificate's full health conditions and the carrier's rules. (USDA APHIS: United States to Costa Rica)

Arrival within certificate validityBrazil
The USDA country page requires the applicable endorsed international health certificate to accompany the dog in print. It states a 60-day validity period from the accredited veterinarian's signature, with the certificate still valid on arrival. Check all health conditions in the current certificate. (USDA APHIS: United States to Brazil)

Certificate plus possible official observationChile
Use the current USDA-accredited-veterinarian certificate with APHIS endorsement and carry its printed copy. The official page says dogs may be required to undergo at least 30 days of official observation after arrival; this is not a statement that every dog must be quarantined. Confirm exceptions directly. (USDA APHIS: United States to Chile)
