The government K9 world — USPCA, NAPWDA, HITS, ATK9 — is closed. Full membership is limited to active law-enforcement officers, military police, and correction officers. Civilians and private-sector Protection Special Services Dog teams are institutionally locked out.
The civilian world that is left is a market of one-off courses, sport clubs, and generic dog-training subscriptions. None of it treats the handler and the dog as one team. None of it is built around face-to-face, close-quarters, kinetic protection — the environment a civilian PSSD team actually operates in.
That environment is where we come from. Corrections Special Ops. The dog works at arm’s length, not down a block. The handler makes decisions under pressure with a weapon in the equation. The team is one unit or it is nothing.
This library is the standard we actually use. What a Protection K9 is, what it is not, and what happens when Bark, Bite, Hold, and Out have to work in real time — with a real handler making real calls. Built for the civilian owner-handler, the professional non-government PSSD team, and the future team’s dog in its first 180 days.
Access is vetted. The price is higher because the experience is not theoretical.

K1K9 training content is education in our standard. It is not a license, a government certification, or permission to deploy a dog.
