If another program exists that meets all four of those conditions, I will name it, praise it, and recommend it publicly. To date, none has been produced.

Anyone can start a Giant Schnauzer program. Anyone can breed a litter. Anyone can pay a trainer to run a decoy routine and film it. What no one else has done is take Giant Schnauzers into the corrections special-operations environment on a career-length timeline and produce a documented record.

That is the work behind the word “proven.” Not marketing. Not certification. Not a title on a piece of paper. Deployment. Hundreds of engagements. Fifteen countries. You are not choosing between K1K9 and another HP Giant Schnauzer program. There is no other HP Giant Schnauzer program that meets the four conditions above. You are choosing between K1K9 and a Giant Schnauzer sourced from a breeder, developed by a general-purpose protection-K9 provider, and marketed as a working dog without the underlying lineage or deployment record.

Many Giants living in loving homes right now are excellent household companions and would rise to protect their families if the moment came.

This page is not a claim that other working breeds are inferior. They are not. The Malinois, the German Shepherd, the Doberman, the Rottweiler, the Cane Corso — every one of these breeds has done extraordinary work in protection, police, and military service. Bravo. Total respect.
