09 / RAPID IMMERSION PROGRAM
Focused recalibration.
Clear accountability.
A concentrated development program for an existing protection K9, built around the client’s priorities, a multi-instructor assessment and a defined plan.
PSS-K9™ MISSION RECALIBRATION™
Not an open-ended boarding arrangement.
Understand the goals, the planned work, the costs and the anticipated completion window before the program begins. Weekly reviews keep the client informed and identify when the plan needs to change.
Limited capacity. Acceptance is based on suitability, staffing and the client’s or organization’s priority security needs.
Begin with the K9 you have.
For clients or organizations concerned about an existing K9’s preparation, whether its background is sport protection, another protection program, or training without a clear validation record.
Assessment considers behavioral history, prior training, health and welfare, handler experience, and the role the client actually requires. Suitability is evaluated rather than assumed.
Three priorities shape the plan.
- Client needs: The household, organization and daily environment.
- Security concerns: A confidential discussion of the circumstances that matter.
- Required capabilities: Clear, realistic development goals and limits.
Not every K9 is suitable for the requested role. Assessment may lead to a different recommendation rather than acceptance into immersion.
Assess. Define. Review.
- Multi-instructor assessmentReview the K9’s background, behavior, current preparation and intended role.
- Written program agreementSet weekly goals, proposed staffing, training scope, costs and an anticipated completion window.
- Concentrated developmentCoordinate specialist instruction and appropriate measurement technology around the agreed PSS-K9™ development plan.
- Weekly review and handoverReview progress, discuss any proposed changes, and prepare handler or security-team integration.
Intensity with a defined purpose.
The proposed model assigns three to four specialist instructors to one K9, rather than relying on a single instructor’s discipline. Five to eight daily sessions are planned according to the K9’s assessment and tolerance.
Sessions may include brief skills work, observation and recovery-focused activity. This is not a commitment to five to eight high-intensity contact sessions; rest, welfare and appropriate veterinary input take priority.
A window, not a guarantee.
Programs may span several weeks, potentially around four to six weeks, depending on the starting assessment and required capabilities. The individual completion estimate is agreed before intake and reviewed against progress.
“Rapid” does not guarantee an outcome or fixed completion date. Changes to scope, timing or additional charges should be explained and approved rather than left open-ended.
Know what is being worked on.
- Weekly goals and progress: What was planned, what was completed and what comes next.
- Training visibility: Client access to agreed training-viewing sessions or recordings, subject to the service agreement and facility permissions.
- Location updates: An agreed reporting channel for the K9’s training location and any planned transfers.
- Time and scope: A clear account of planned work, review points and the anticipated handover.
Access must be arranged, not assumed.
The proposed client-viewing service is intended to support transparency without exposing other clients, restricted facilities or sensitive training material. Viewing access, update frequency and any location-reporting service must be confirmed in the agreement.

Specialist training. Coordinated logistics.
The agreed plan may include work at high-performance training centers and other U.S. facilities with different specialists. Locations, transfers, staffing and client approval are defined before movement. International training for specialized skill sets may also be considered, with K9 suitability, veterinary documentation, transport, entry and return requirements confirmed in advance. International training for specialized skill sets may also be considered, with K9 suitability, veterinary documentation, transport, entry and return requirements confirmed in advance.
On-site delivery at a client-designated location can be discussed where the site, staffing and safety requirements are suitable.
Collection and return coordination.
The CONCIERGE team can discuss collection from a home or business, domestic transfers, international transport and return arrangements. International service depends on the route, K9 eligibility, veterinary documentation, carrier acceptance and applicable import, export and customs requirements.
Worldwide pickup or entry into the United States is not guaranteed for every K9 or country. Transport arrangements and costs require individual confirmation.
Start with a private consultation.
Availability is limited and prioritized according to security requirements, organizational needs, suitability and available specialist capacity. This is an assessment-led service, not a fixed-date course or automatic placement.
The quote should identify the agreed program scope, staffing, estimated duration, progress reporting, transport, inclusions, exclusions and the process for approving additional work.
