KESP™ means Kinetic Engagement Sparring Partner. Within K1K9, that name should carry one consistent meaning across an article, a course description, an equipment page and a conversation with a handler. A professional should not have to guess which definition applies. Consistency is more than spelling. Before a supervised session, the team should agree on its purpose, participant responsibilities, the information to record and the conditions requiring a stop. Afterward, the written account should describe what occurred without quietly changing the meaning of the original objective.
Separate observation from interpretation. 'This is what I saw' is different from 'This is what the instrument recorded' and different again from 'This is what I think it means.' All three can belong in a useful discussion, provided the distinction remains visible.
