A demonstration can draw attention without explaining its purpose. Our concern is what happens when presentation becomes more important than the canine’s welfare or the team’s development. The professional question is not whether a moment looked intense. It is whether the activity served an appropriate objective and stayed within the supervised plan. An impressive appearance is not a substitute for that review.
